Show UNION PACIFIC TO RUSH THE COAL TRAIN TO OGDEN FROM ROCK SPRINGS MINES Union Pacific officials stated at 3 o'clock this afternoon that the train of twenty cars of lump coal ordered yesterday yes-terday by Delbert H. Page, general manager of the Womine Coal compa-nii compa-nii s, in answer to the appeal of Tho Standard for quick delivery to relieve diRtress caused by the fuel famine, would bo madp up this evening, when the loading at the mines is finished, and will be rushed through without delay. William H. Chevers. general agent of the traffic department of the Union Pacific, said he would co-operate iu the rapid transit of the coal, and Assistant As-sistant Superintendent Bloid promised to keep in touch with ihe chief train dispatcher, lo bring the tiain through without a halt. At Mr. Tape's offices, it was stated, that such co-operation assured the arrival ar-rival of the train Monday or Tuesday. Mr. Pape also ga e assurances that proper supervision of delivery from ! the yards of tho four dealers who will I handle the coal should make sure of fair distribution, so that the most serious seri-ous needs of families first should be supplied. The 1'nion Pacific officials sta'.ed that coal and other freight are now moving without delay and that every effort will be made to overcome tho fuel famine on their lines - No assurances have been received from the D. & R.
