He starred during the last football season sea-son and many are of the opinion that if he had another year to play inter collegiate football he would have bei-n one of the sensations of the Pacific coast Kelly's best game of football was played on Thanksgiving day, when his work resulted in the touchdown touch-down scored by the W ill vans. Kelly won more than 400 points for the Trojans on the track He was one of the most consistent college athletes in the country while attending U. S. C. He first gained fame in the lOlvmnlc games of 1912. when, un known only to local fans, he won the 110-meter high hurdle race. Since then he won international fame. He will wear the colors of the Los Angeles Athletic club in the various meets thi spring. He will participate In the meets staked in the east dur ing the summer.
