Show DEATH SENTENCES ARE COMMUTED Vienna, Jan 5. viR London, Jan. 6, 5 a. m The death sentences of four prominent Czechs, who some time ago were convicted of treason, have been commuted by Emperor Charles to various va-rious terms of imprisonment. Dr. Charles Kramarz, a Czech deputy, who was charged with trying to reconcile recon-cile Russia and Bohemia has been resentenced re-sentenced to 15 years imprisonment Dr. Aloysius Rasln Is sentenced to ten years, Vincenz Cervinka six years and Joseph Zamasol six years at hard labor. Tho general amnesty proclaimed by the emperor on tho occasion his coronation coro-nation as king of Hungary does not apply here but Is confined to Hungary. |
