Show WEBER STAKE OLD FOLKS' OUTINfi The old folks of the Weber stake are enjoying themselves at Lagoon today, about five hundred of the aged and their families making the trip in h special train this morning. ' In former years "Old Folks' Day" 1 hns been celebrated by the throe ' stakes of Weber county on the same clay, but it was docitled that it would bemore convenient to have the three ' stakes celebrate the event separately this year. The committee in charge I of the affair secured free transportation transporta-tion for all of the old folks from tho : Salt Lake & Ogden railroad company I so that no charge whatever was made J to the aged people who are participating participat-ing in the ovent. J A whole carload of food stuff was I taken with tho crowd and a very ap-j ap-j pctizlng luncheon was spread at the , park at noon Bishop D. H. Ensign, j Bishop Robert McQuarrie, Bishop H. , C. Jacobs and B. H. Goddard were in charge of the outing. oo |
