Show BOY WILL NOT BE PROSECUTED Officers of the law at Aurora, Illinois, announce that the twelve-year old boy who shot a prohibition officer in the leg, will not be prosecuted. While conflicting stories may be given out about the occurrence, it seems that a group of prohibition officei-s called at the home of the lad's father and induced him to bring forth a gallon of wine, and all proceeded to conviviality. con-viviality. An unnoticed officer then clubbed the father over the head, and in the ensuing excitement, the mother was shot and killed. The twelve-year old boy, forced to watch the gruesome sight, (which will live in horrible vividness viv-idness in his mind all of his life), of his father with a fractured frac-tured skull and his mother shot to death, seized a gun, pointed it at an officer, and shot. It is interesting to ponder on the future of prohibition; its cause both espoused and weakened by the allegiance of honest believers in nationwide abstience and by corrupt and brutal oficers and bootleg rackateers.
