Show O PAROWAN GIRL IS RUN OVER BY CAR Miss Harriet Thornton, fifteen year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. U. Thornton, who miraculously escaped death when she was run over by an automobile last Friday evening in the street in front of the Parowan Auto company's place of business, is reported re-ported as recovering in splendid shape though it will probably be a couple of weeks before she will be able to be around again. Miss Thornton sustained one broken rib and there is evidence that one wheel of the big Dodge, which Charles Timmons was driving, ran over one leg. She was, of course, badly bruised bruis-ed by the impact and was unconscious for ten or twelve hours. All the next day she was unable to move but now there is a marked improvement in her condition. Even now she doesn't remember re-member anything about what happened happen-ed or how, except that she had left the Green & Green store and started across the street toward the Parowan Drug. Though nobody blames the driver for the accident he has been very concerned about it, and has done whatever was possible from the time the accident happened in an -attempt to help out.
