Show BEAVER CROWN ORE BEING SHIPPED TO SALT LAKE MARKET Operations at the Beaver Crown mine in the Star district, 6 miles southwest of Milford, are on a productive pro-ductive basis, according to Jeremiah Stokes of the American Financing corporation. One carload of ore recently re-cently arriving on the Salt Lake market mar-ket assayed $2 in gold, 2G.3 ounces of silver, 19.7 per cent lead and 1.94 per cent copper. Another carload previous to this shipment brought a gross return of $25 a ton, and another an-other carload is being loaded from the Star district property. This ore is being taken from the Parker drift on the 400 level, where eighteen inches of ore is being developed de-veloped by raising and drifting. In the raise, the ore is improving steadily stead-ily in value and some high-grade sand carbonate ore is being stoped, according accord-ing to Mr. Stokes. The mine is equipped with an electric elec-tric pump, hoist, compressor and nir drills. Frank C. Mitchell is mine superintendent su-perintendent and George Peterson, engineer. Mr. Peterson arrived at the mine this week to superintend operations, which will be carried on from both the 400 and 500 levels. Western Mineral Eurvey. |
