Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Davis returned this week from a vacation trip. Miss Eileen Morley and daughter spent the week-end shopping in Salt Lake City. H. C. Angell is here from Levan, i Utah. Pat Mof fate and Lafe Jolley of Salt Lake City, were calling on our merchants Wednesday. Miss Ailene Tanner and Nora! Brandenburg of Salt Lake, are on a 1 business trip to our city. J. P. Johansen and J. H. Deardon of Garrison, were in Milford this week. Ruth Carlson, Ethel Forgensen, j Katherine Wadman, and Ida Mackey of New York, were on a sight-seeing tour of the west and were all in Milford Monday. Mrs. Ethel T. Terry of Modena, was a Milford visitor Monday. Claude. Bake was in Milford from Eureka this week. A. 0. Whitmore, R. Whitmore and F. C. Stanes of Salt Lake, were inspecting in-specting some mines here this week. ! Jack Holland came down from, Lynndyl on Sunday. G. W. White of Richfield, was here this past week. Mrs. E. Huick, Mrs. Rose Griner and Miss 0. Griner of Woodland, California, were tourists who visited Milford this week. Maxine Bardsley is helping at thej .- Telluride office while there is some extra work to be done. Regular church services at the Methodist church will be resumed this Sunday, when Rev. H. E. Root will be back in the pulpit from his vacation. vaca-tion. F. W. Wilson is back on the board as fireman nftor a lay-off of several months which he spent in fruit farming farm-ing in southern California. Mr. Wilson Wil-son is a firm believer in the future of avorcado growing as an industry. Mr. and Mrs. AJ Cline visited in Fillmore Sunday. H. F. Chanslor went down to Cali-ente Cali-ente Wednesday on a business trip. Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Pool and children child-ren drove to Heber City Tuesday to visit there for four or five days. A bllaze was noticed from Milford Saturday and seemed to be burning the small cedars over near Rock Corral. Cor-ral. The fire caused a lot of smoke but was seen to have burnt itself out in a short time. Mrs. L. F. Kohler has been clerking at the J. C. Penney store the past few days. ! Mrs. F. E. Casterline and daughter, Marjorie, went to Salt Lake Wednesday Wednes-day to visit with relatives for a week or ten days. Editor Mitchell of the ,Tarowan Times, was in Milford Monday reporting re-porting the Republican meeting. |
