WORK TO START ON SHICEPROCK MINE K. liissell, a mining enginer, who has been working for a number of years to obtain a bond and lease on the old Sheeprock mining property on North Creek, and also to interest capital in the development of Vhis mimic, arrived in Beaver the first of last week, and states that he has at last secured the backing necessary for opening '.he mine. While those associated with him, are conservative con-servative mining men, they are giving giv-ing out mUiing further than they expect to do a large amount of prospect pros-pect work on the claims at present. After a thorough investigation of .heir property, on which they hold a lease, if the showing developes as they anticipate, it is probable that extensive production work will be started. Several truck loads of machinery is arriving '.his week, which includes a compressor, drills, hoist, etc, and several men are being employed.
