Show TAMPER WITH WATER AT PANGUITCH LAKE An orchestra called the Salt Lake Stompers played Panguitch last Friday Fri-day evening, at the Dansante. They were pretty good musicians, bu'i very poor fishermen, and after trying the sport at the Lake, could not resist the temptation of closing down the gate at the dam, thus lowering the water, presumably so they could catch fish easier. However, Robert Dickenson noting 'the water going down, investigated and discovered the young gents at their work. Sheriff Haycock was Immediately notified and proceeded to haul the boys on their return :rip, and took them before be-fore Judge Tebbs, and upon pleading plead-ing guilty to the charge, were fined a sum to remind them that they should not tamper with o'cher people's peo-ple's property. This should be a les-; les-; son to all who ever have such a de-i de-i sire in their hearts to not fool with irrigation streams, and to fish like fishermen. Garfield Couifty News, Panguitch. i |
