Show LOCALS and PERSONALS Clarence Sweet returned to work this week following a vacation spent in Salt Lake City and Los Angeles. Milford Post of the Veterans of Foreign Wars held a meeting at the Odd Fellows hall last Saturday evening. even-ing. - Wilbur (Shorty) Killam returned this week from a month's vacation trip which he spent in visiting in Oregon, Yellowstone . Park, and Glacier Park. He went via automobile and reports finding some bad roads on his trip. Will sell our garden in the south part of Minersville, at a very reasonable reason-able price. Has new potatoes, corn, cucumbers, beans, and everything of a vegetable nature. James W. Kvre. (Adv.) Genevieve Price and brother, Bob Price, are moving to Salt Lake City the fore part of next week. Bob is employed by the railroad and has been transferred; Miss Price has been employed at the news stand in the U. P. waiting room. Their many friends here will be sorry to have them go. A. B. Clark and F. H. Robertson, of Delta, were in Milford last week in the interests of the Standard Oil company. Dr. and Mrs. A. C. McKean were in Milford from Salt Lake on the 1st. Dr. McKean conducted a vaccination vac-cination clinic while here in the interests in-terests of the State Board of Health. J. N. Stacey, an official of the Standard Oil company, was here last week. A. G. Hedges, special officer for the Union Pacific, was in Milford last week. He is a brother of Harvey Hedges,' of Milford. |
