Show PARAGON AH NEWS By Hilma Lamoreaux On Tues. July 22 the last Primary meeting of the current season is being held in the form of a "Summer Sing." Parents, grandparents and friends are invited. Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham had a host of visitors from July 3 to the 6. . Family members here included Mrs. LaVon McClary, and Mrs. Kathleen Goodwin of St. George, Jim and Mattie Hastings of Hurricane, Bishop and Ruth Parker and daughter, Patty of Flagstaff, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Norton, Marysvale. Farrell and Rayola LeFevre of Junction. Jay, Joyce and Michael Stolk of Ely, Nev. Leon and Betty Guymon and family of Layton. The Gale Stolk family of Parowan joined them here and a ( merry time was had by all. Mrs. Idella Robinson arrived home on Sat. from her twelve day tour with the Phillip Hanks group. The tour went to Idaho, Montana, into Canada where they spent a day at the Calgary Stampede, west to Vancouver, down the coast and home again by way of Las Vegas. They visited four Temples during the trip, the Idaho Falls, Cardson, Los Angeles and Oakland Temples. Mrs. Robinson said it was good to be home Mr. and Mrs. Bill Dalton were hosts to a family gathering this past week end when forty of Mary's family came to celebrate the 85th birthday bir-thday of Mrs. Lovena Leavitt on Sat. All brought food and helped with the arrangements and tables were set on the lawn to serve the turkey dinner. Mrs. Leavitt herself made 10 pies for the occasion. Present were George Leavitt of Arvada, Colo., Hafen Leavitt traveled to Duchesne on Mon. of last week for an overnight visit with granddaughter, Valerie Ivie and her family to celebrate little Melanie's birthday. On Tues they returned to Orem to visit with son Elmo and other relatives. Chester returned home on Wed. leaving Irene there for her mothers 89th birthday celebration on Thurs. Becky Robinson came with him. On Fri. Irene arrived here with sister Leora Ashton and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch Lamoreaux. On Sat. these three traveled to Enterprise for a Huntsman iamily reunion. John Russell Robinson is back here with the Dale Robinson family after two weeks at home in Orem while he attended an athletic clinic at BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mellow and children of Lake Shore returned home last week after a visit here with the Orson Talbot family. Alan and Jeffrey Roberts of Cedar City were here Fri. for an overnight visit with grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham. Darren and Christian Orton and Billy and Mathew Brown of Cedar City were here Mon and Tues. to visit with grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lamoreaux. Mrs. Gayle Halversen and two boys, and Miss Lorie Smith left for Logan on Sat. after a week's visit here with Gayle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund. They were accompanied by Miss Sherri Lund of Cedar City, i Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lister have had numerous visitors recently. Their son Larry and his wife and two boys were here from Irvine, Calif, for two weeks and other family members came to see them. Arnold and family came from Price and those from Washington were here. On Sat. and daughter Tricia of Win-nemucca, Win-nemucca, Nev., Leonard and Pansy Hardy, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Hardy and family of LaVerkin, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Leavitt and family, Mrs. Delia Bunker, Mrs. Eleanor Leavitt, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Hardy and Becky, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Leavitt, a son-' son-' in-law and grandchildren, all of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Leavitt, Salt Lake City, Mrs. Susan Howard and Brandi Sue of St. George and Mrs. Sheila Jensen and children. Some of the visitors remained in Paragonah for a longer stay. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Mitchell of Cedar City visited here one day last week with Kathleen's mother. Mrs. Leona Stones. Mrs. Idella Robinson has another grandchild, a nine pound girl born on Wed. to Gordon and Janine Manzione of Tooele, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson evening there were 25 together at the Jack Lister home in Washington. Alan Lister and family of Washington were here for the holiday weekend and Jack and family came Sat. Also Annabelle's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. McBride of Las Vegas were here for two days. Visitors at the Antone Robinson home last week included in-cluded Connie's father Alfred Brey of Riverton and his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brey of Bountiful. They were here from Mon. to Thurs. Connie's brother Ronnie of Riverton was also here for a day and the Kenneth Hara's were here from Salt Lake City. July 7 was an occasion for the Special Interest Group in Paragonah. They had a party and pot luck dinner at the Ruth Boardman home. The spacious patio provided a fine setting for the festivities. Mr. and Mrs. David Pack and two children of Salt Lake City were weekend visitors here with Claudia's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones. Young Jeffrey Jones of Salt Lake' City is visiting here this , week with grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones. Jim Sampson and son Kenny of Page, Ariz, were Sun. visitors at the Kay Lamoreaux home.
