Said permits for private landowner use shall be provided by the County to the County Clerk and to the County Sheriff's Department, including all Deputy Sheriffs. The U.S. Forest Service, Utah State Division of Forestry and Fire Control, and the U.S. Bureau of Land Managment will provide their own permit forms containing the information described in Sectrion 2 above. SECTION 4. The holder of a permit shall be required to have said permit in his possession whenever he is engaged in the cutting, processing or transportation of the forest and woodland wood products designated in said permit. SECTION 5. Persons violating this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class B Misdemeanor and subject to a fine in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Ninety-nine ($299.00) Dollars, or imprisonment in the Iron County Jail for a term not to exceed six (6) months, or both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after being published in a newspaper having local circulation in Iron County. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 24 DAY OF May, 1978. J-29, July 6, 1978 IRON COUNTY ORDINANCE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS COM-MISSIONERS OF IRON COUNTY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. From and after the effective date of this Ordinance, it shall be unlawful and punishable as herein defined for any person to cut, transport or possess forest and woodland wood products without prior written authorization from the owner of the land, including in-cluding federally owned lands, from which the forest and woodland wood products are to be removed, or his authorized representative. - SECTION 2. The prior written authorization required herein shall be in the form of a written permit, which shall include, but shall not be limited to, the folliwng information: (a) Date of permit. (b) Name and address of permittee. (c) Description of forest product. 1. Species. 2. Product (sawlogs, poles, posts, Christmas trees, ornamentals, fuelwood, etc.). (d) Description of lands from which product will be taken (legal and geographic). (e) Expiration date. (f) Signature of landowner or administrator of federal lands and the respective |
