Show Quilt Winners Named Quilts from Beaver, Kane, Garfield, Washington and Iron Counties were displayed at the SUSC Family Living Center on Thursday, June 22. Quilts were judged on outstanding original designs inspired by traditional quilt patterns. There were judged by Mrs. Ruth Garbet from Salt Lake City, Theta Johnson and Dean Phyllis Snow, Utah State University. Univer-sity. Those displaying quilts were Thelma Hurst, Viola Yardley, Suzanne Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, Cloe Fillmore, Mrs. Taylor Farnsworth - Beaver County - Shirley Reeves, Billye Humpherys, Senior Citizens Center, Ruth Betenson, Zelma Lunt, Jean C. Jones, Tambi Sorensen, Hannah Robinson, Sara Hulert, Nell Bentley, Barbara Bar-bara Burt, - Iron County -Lillian Bowler, Stella Higgins, Eleanor R. Larson, Gwen Thomas, - Washington County - Eva Marshall, Beth Hatch, Dorothy Houston, Yucon Norman, Adele Riggs, Elaine Riggs -Garfield County - Clella Hepworth, Harriet R. Judd, Zelma Johnson, - Kane Coutny. Quilts chosen to be exhibited at USU's Festival of The American West were made by Billye Humpherys, Hucon Norman, Clella Hepworth, Tambi Sorenson, Gwen Thomas, Eva Marshall Mar-shall and Dorothy W. Houston. Others receiving special recognition were Sara Hulet, Jean C. Jones, - Parowan; H a n n a Robinson, Paragonah; Zelma Lunt and Ruth Betenson - Cedar City; Beth Hatch - Panguitch; Adele Riggs, Elaine Riggs - Hatch; Harriet R. Judd and Zelma Johnson - Orderville; Stella Higgins - LaVerkin; Eleanor Larson - St. George; Thelma Hurst, Viola Yardley, Yar-dley, Suzanne Brad-shaw, Brad-shaw, and Chloe Fillmore -Beaver County.
