Show T-Ball League After three weeks of ac- tion, Cedar's newest baseball league is experiencing ex-periencing plenty of action ' 5 with many enthused spec-t spec-t tators. This new league is a replacement for last year's Recreation League. It's now known as the T-Ball league. The league handles boys and girls ages 8-10 years and is played at 6 p. m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the South Elementary. The big difference dif-ference is that no pitcher is used. Instead the ball is placed on a special tee and the player tries to hit the ball. Hopefully the boys and girls will learn basic baseball fundaments. Many have found the games exciting ex-citing and filled with action. There are many hits but it definitely isn't as easy as it looks to hit the ball off the tee. One boy, Delyn Correy, ' doesn't believe this as he has six home runs in six games. League standings are as j follows : i Cedar Builders . . .5 1 j Century 21 5 1 ; Skaggs 5 1 Bradshaw Firestone 5 2 j Cedar City Police. 3 3 Antone's 1 5 ' Gary's Texaco . . .1 5 s Lockhardt 0 6 |
