Gubler (Elementary Education) and Charlinda Munford (Business Education). Bill and Anne Advocate had as house guest Leo and Mary Stevensen from Oakland, Calif.; Art and Rosalie Horn and son Rodney from Needles, Calif. Ross and Opal Williams enjoyed a short visit from there sister Roma Wood her daughters, Karen Hayes and daughter Leslie Sharla DeCille and son Shane from Las Vegas. They were on their way. home from Salt Lake City where they had attended a family wedding and a testimonial for Fawn and John Marshall who are going on an LDS Mission. Visiting with Dean Davis was his brother and sister in law, Marvin and Tevila Davis of Las Vegas, his neice and friend, LaDawn Mitchell and Carol Brock, Cedar City Twelve leaders and girl scouts attended the Lazy Daisy Day Girl Scout Day Camp last week at Cedar Canyon Park. Leaders Sherry Prisby Marilyn Baumberger, Mary Lakner, Suzie Cosney ; Scouts, Peggy Lakner, Katherina Baumberger, Stephnie- dinner at their Mt. ranch on Kanarra Mt. tor a tellow employee, Frank and Ferris Stevens, who are associated with the SUSC Valley Farm. Other employees and wives attending were: Delynn and Sandy Olds, Bill and Do Hill, Al and Rena Tait, Florence Mathews and son Drew and Jim and Joan Bowns. Mrs. Ferl Zohner spent a couple of weeks in Sunnyvale Sun-nyvale Calif., with her daughter and children Sharon Stewart while her hunsband was away on hisjob. Ferl came back this week to Las Vegas to be with her son Kelvin who had knee surgery. Sherald and Velma Peterson were very happy when Sherald's nephew and wife, LaVere and Veda Sizemore from Durango, Colo, called in to see them and spend a couple of days. Miss Suzanne Davis from Milford is here spending a week with her grandparents. Carol and Norman Murdock all three went to Beaver Saturday to attend a Stewart family reunion. Noel and Lena Williams was surporsed on Fathers Day to have a visit from their son, Melton Fock Fock Williams and wife from Calfornia. They stayed over night there went on to Provo where their daughter is attending BYU. Cosney, Tonya Cornelus, Janene Baumberger, Heather and Katie Kelly and Tonya Lynn Presley. Visiting this past week with Willard and Lillie Williams was their son and daughter in law, Russell and Erika Williams and girls from Sandy; their mother, Zina Presley, Washington; their sisters, Betti Salvange Las Vegas; Geneva Stapley, Chester, Utah; Phebe Mosley, Washington and nephew Mr. and Mrs. KJim Stapley, Mt. Plessant. Jesse Prisly, Scout Master, took his son, David and Sterling Nelson for a week at Camp at Thunder Ridge. Dick Nelson spent a couple of nights with them. DeJbert Reeves is an instructor in-structor at the camp for Forestry Merit Badges. Allen and Retta Davis and children Tracy and Rachel of Las Vegas, Nev. spent the weekend here with their parents, Willard and Alva Batty and Vrigil and Belle Davis. Tracy st stayed here to spend a week with his grandparents. Mrs. Colleen Hall chaperoned Raudi Nelson, Machelle LaFever, Liz Ence, and Suzie Cosney to the MIA Grils camp held at Zion National Park. Spencer and Herma Truman and Rod Hall were their representing the priesthood. Ronald and Joan Williams had a farewell dutch oven |
