Among principal frozen vegetables, sweet corn and green pea stocks were both 14 greater than year earlier and snap beans were up 11. Frozen potato holdings 8 greater than year earlier and one-fifth more than most recent 3-year average. Fresh potatoes . , . adequate, with Dec. 1 stocks 4 less than large holdings of year earlier. i Peanuts . . . plentiful. Commercial Com-mercial stocks on Oct. 31 were 13 greater than the year before. The 1975 crop is record large. Almonds . . . plentiful, due to heavy carryover carry-over from record 1974 crop. Production in 1975 estimated at some 27 less than in '74. Walnuts . . . plentiful. Record 1975 output is expected to top 1974 crop by about 22 and to be 9 larger than 73 record production. Pecans . . , plentiful, with 1975 crop 68 larger than the small 1974 production. GRAINS & LEGUMES Rice . . . plentiful. Record production is estimated to be 14 greater than in 1974 and 32 larger than 1972-74 average. Dry beans . . . plentiful, plen-tiful, though 1975 output is 15 less than last year's record rec-ord crop and 6 under 1972-74 1972-74 average. Dry peas . . . plentiful, plen-tiful, despite production 32 under a year earlier and 6 down from 1972-74 average. Wheat . . . plentiful. Output Out-put should be 19 greater than 1974's record crop and 27 more than 1972-74 average. RED MEATS Beef . . . plentiful. Production Produc-tion about 5 ahead of year earlier and 10 above 1973-75 1973-75 average. Fed beef output, however, will likely remain slightly below Jan. 1975 production. pro-duction. Output about 2 more than year earlier ear-lier and about the same as Jan. 1973-75 average. MILK & DAIRY PRODUCTS Milk and dairy products . . . adequate. Nov. milk production produc-tion topped that of a year earlier ear-lier by 1.9 and was 1.2 above 1972-74 monthly average. aver-age. Commercial dairy product stocks in early Nov. continued to decline. Record crop 13 above 1974 'utilized production and 17 above 1972-74 average. Fresh winter pears (mainly D'Anjous) . . . plentiful. Dec. 1 holdings nearly 5 greater than a year earlier and 30 above 1972-74 1972-74 Dec. 1 average. Cranberry products . . . plentiful. Production Produc-tion 2 under 1974 utilized output, but 2 larger than 1972-74 average. Fresh citrus fruits and juice-es juice-es . . . plentiful. Early, mid-season, mid-season, and Navel orange production pro-duction slightly above last season sea-son and 7 ahead of most recent 3-season average. The Grapefruit crop excepted to be record large, up 14 from last season and 9 bigger than latest 3-season average. Florida frozen concentrated orange or-ange juice supply carryover into 1975-76 season (beginning (begin-ning Dec. 1) was 5 less than a year earlier, but 13 greater great-er than most recent 3-season average. Canned non-citrus fruits . . . plentiful. While this year's pack is slightly smaller, total supplies to be heavier than year earlier because of larger carryover. Raisins . . . plentiful, with 1975 crop slightly bigger than the heavy 1974 production. Dried prunes . . . plentiful. Estimated Es-timated 1975 crop is larger than last year's heavy output. Canned and frozen vegetables vegeta-bles . . . plentiful. Nov. 1 holdings hold-ings of canned sweet corn and green peas totaled 41 more than year earlier. Canned beet stocks were almost one-third above Dec. 1974 levels, and the inventory of canned lima beans was 61 more than last year's sparse holdings. Corn . . . plentiful for food use. Record production is predicted pre-dicted 25 over last year's crop and 10 more than '72-74 '72-74 average. Terminology used: PLENTIFUL More than enough for requirements.
