Show Eligibility tests for Civil Service summer jobs set The eligibility test for summer jobs with the U.S. Civil Service Commission will be given registered candidates January 10 at Southern Utah State College. Testing will begin at 8:30 a.m. in Room 010 in the Science Building. The eligibility test may also be taken in February if interested persons make application by January 16. The necessary announcement an-nouncement (number 414) and application form are available in the Student Resources Center, Room 135, Administration Building. Students wishing to apply for summer work with a Federal agency must successfully pass the written test or have education or experience appropriate ap-propriate for the desired job. Some positions require all three-- the test, education and experience. ex-perience. The SUSC testing center will also be administering the Professional Administrative Career Examination (PACE) for applicants in the Cedar City area. PACE will be offered all months except December and the summer months. A description of the test and its function as, well as application forms are available at the testing center. This Federal test offers an opportunity to compete for a wide variety of jobs in Federal agencies across the country. Also available at the Student Resources Center is information about the specific agencies using PACE to establish eligibility for various positions. |
