Show SU publication garners National Honors Southern Utah State College's Information Services Office has received its second national honor in the past year for sports publications. The 1975 football press guide brochure has been recognized as an "all-American" publication by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. From a total of about 500 NAIA football-playing football-playing schools, 30 press guide brochures were selected through competitive judging to receive the all-American designation. Last year, the 1974 SUSC football game programs were judged as seventh best in the nation among the NAIA's. Division I (larger) schools. The programs were also designed, written and edited by the Information In-formation Services Office. Jim Robinson, SUSC director of public relations, and student assistant Jim Bayly, Omaha, Neb., are primarily responsible for the sports information program at SUSC, Assisting with the two award winning publications were Barbara Morgan and photographer Boyd Redington. |
