Show I Mustang Assn. Draws Interest In the preservation of the Mustang. The letter was written by Miss Janis Fay Hanson of 111 "R" Street S, Auburn, Wash-ington. Wash-ington. Her note read, "I want to put money In the save the Mustangs: the article told me about it." Enclosed were two envelopes envel-opes containing two nickels and 10 pennies. The envelopes envel-opes were from the school and were apparently used for school saving program. Holland stated that it appeared ap-peared that the young lady had diverted money scheduled for a savings account to save the Mustang. Interest in the National Mustang Association, headquartered head-quartered in Cedar City, has been running high recently since a publication of the organization's aims and purposes pur-poses were outlined in the June issue of "Western Life" magazine. According to Tom Holland, president, hundreds of inquiries in-quiries have been received by the Association since the article's ar-ticle's publication, and membership mem-bership has been increasing. The association is planning an extensive drive this coming com-ing week in St. George in connection con-nection with the Intercollegiate Intercolleg-iate Rodeo Contest to be held in that city and the thousands of people expected to attend. To help promote the organization, organi-zation, a stage coach and a 4-up team of horses will be brought in by the Mustang Association from Las Vegas, Nev., to participate in the parades and to also give rides and shuttle people to and from the rodeo activities. The coach and team are being donated, Holland stated, by the Stage Coach Inn and Casino of Las Vegas, Nov., located on the Boulder Highway. High-way.
