Show I ; Swimming Lessons Schedule To Be Announced Mrs. Maxine Stolk, manager of the Parowan municipal swimming pool, states that the facility is now open and everything running smoothly, but as yet she hasn't drawn up a definite schedule for swimming lessons. She states that when the children come to the pool they may register for classes and wnen tne schedule is drawn up, they will be notified. The regular Ladies' Day will start Wednesday, June 28 at 10 a. m. Mrs. Stolk says, and that married women can sign up by calling her or when they come to the pool. Mrs. Stolk states that the pool will be available for private swimming parties of clubs or groups on any evening eve-ning of the week by making arrangements in advance, and the charge for these has been set at $15.00 per group. These will have to be scheduled after af-ter regular pool hours. It Is also announced that the swimming pool will be open on Sunday between the hours of 4 and 8 p. m. Mrs. Stolk tells us that a group of 40 young girls ranging rang-ing in age from 13 through 16 years of age, representing an LDS Ward in Salt Lake City stopped here Saturday about noon for an hour's swim. They were traveling by chartered bus and were making a tour of the southern Utah parks. |
