Show Plans Being Made For Observance Of Nation's Birthday A tentative outline of activities activi-ties for the observance of July 4 in Parowan is in preparation with a full day's celebration in the making according to Earl Bunn, chairman of the Parowan City recreation committee. com-mittee. Beginning with a daybreak salute the day's program. will continue with a parade, a pa-triotice pa-triotice meeting and a program of sports in the morning. The afternoon will be taken care of with the annual July 4 Race Meet and Rodeo sponsored spon-sored by the Red Hill Wranglers, Wrang-lers, which assures a full af- ternoon of entertainment for residents of the entire area. The race card provides for six races with rodeo events to be staged in between racs to keep the entertainment ball rolling. The parade, to be of the miniature variety has been placed in the hands of Beverly Taylor who gives information concering this event in anoth-place anoth-place in the Parowan section of this paper. The Parowan Post No. 20, American Legion and its auxiliary aux-iliary has been asked to prepare pre-pare the program for the public pub-lic meeting and the program of sports for old and' young will be in charge of Homer Adams according to Mr. Bunn. The latter urges all residents resi-dents of the city to make plans to take part in the ob-servanse ob-servanse of our nation's birthday, birth-day, Tuesday, July 4. |
