Show Eldon Scott Hansen Killed in California Accident Eldon Scott Hansen, 22, of Cedar City was killed Saturday, Satur-day, June 17, when struck by a car while riding on a motor scooter in LaPuente, Calif. Brief services were held on Tuesday in HaCinta Heights, Calif, where has been residing for the past three and one-half one-half years. Services in Cedar City will be held today, Thursday, at 2 p. m. in the Cedar First Ward chapel and burial will be in the Cedar City cemetery. Friends may call at the Southern South-ern Utah Mortuary from noon today until time of services. The deceased was born at Monroe, Utah on May 17, 1945, a son of Alvin J. and Leah Rae Washburn Hansen. He lived in Monroe until 11 years of age then moved to Cedar City with his family. He attended elementary school in Monroe, and completed com-pleted his education in Cedar City at the junior and senior high schools. He was a member of the Cedar First Ward LDS Church and was active in scouting, attaining the rank of Life. In HaCinta Heights he was employed by a construction firm. He is survived by his parents, par-ents, Cedar City and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Alc Michael J. Hansen, stationed sta-tioned at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden; Nathan David Hansen, Marianne Hansen, Kim A. Hansen, Melanie Hansen and Lauri Hansen, all of Cedar City; Ci-ty; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Julander and Mrs. Grace Smoot, all of Richfield. |
