Show NEWS FROM PMAGONAH By HUr oa Lamoreaux Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Barton Bar-ton and their five children returned home recently from it trip to California which was very enjoyable. They visited Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, Sac-ramento, San Francisco and saw many interesting things. They visited the Oakland Temple grounds, took a bay cruise and saw Treasure Island Is-land and other interesting sights They were Impressed by the big Redwoods, Trolley cars, etc. and had a very good the Robb family for a Fathers Day get together. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson Rob-inson enjoyed having members mem-bers with them for Fathers Day. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Edwards Ed-wards and family of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Robinson and family of Par-owan Par-owan and Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson joined the group. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Jones were happy to have their son, Rodney, and his wife and three sons here with them from Mt. Carmel for Fathers Day. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Morten- Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hastings of Las Vegas, Nev. were here Friday to visit at the Topham home. The Lamoreaux brothers here have received word that their brother-in-law, Fay Stewart of Crow Creek, Idaho is in the St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is re-ceiving re-ceiving cobalt treatments for a chest growth. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson An-derson had most of their family fam-ily with them for Father's Day. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Low and children and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Limb and family came from Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson and family came from Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Bonzo and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bonzo and family of Cedar City were Sunday visitors here with Mr. and Mrs. Lewis I Prothero. I and Mrs. Fred Topham and family of Parowan. Also Kenneth Ken-neth and Lee Arlen Topham. The family party continued or at the Topham home after the return from Bear Valley and Mrs. Pauline Topham, who has been ill, joined them for that part of the activities. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lowe left for New York City on Thursday of last week after af-ter a visit with family members mem-bers here and in Parowan. Emmett Harris and a friend, Miss Sheila Breeze both of Salt Lake City arrived here Saturday for a few days vis-It vis-It with Emmetts grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Robinson Rob-inson and with grandmother, Mrs. Hattic Harris of Parowan. Paro-wan. The young people are seeing the southern .Utah Parks while they are here. Mr. Harris reports in the very near future for his six months National Guard training. Mr. and Mrs. Bish Parker and daughter, Patty, of Flagstaff, Flag-staff, Ariz, arrived here Saturday Sat-urday for a weeks visit with Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham. The Clark L. Orton family all gathered here last week on account of the death of their grandfather, Clark Orton of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Decker Orton and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Orton and children, Mr. and Mrs. Wells Orton and family and Douglas Doug-las Orton, all came from California, Cal-ifornia, some of them remaining remain-ing the entire week. Friday the Orton family and the Joseph E. Barton family traveled to Cedar City for a tret together with the Wayne Mosdells. The Dennis Mos-dells Mos-dells and the Dallen Williams family. , Mr and Mrs. Calvin Robinson Robin-son had their entire family together Sunday for Fathers Day dinner. Mr and Mrs. Clinton Robinson Rob-inson and children came from Richfield, Mrs. Ruby Bauer and children. Mr. and Mrs. sen and baby son were here Sunday for a visit with the Clark Lamoreaux family. Mrs. Rilla Lamoreaux of Provo visited here last week with her mother, Mrs. Eda Thornton, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton. Mr. and Mrs, Clem Duncan of Meadow were Sunday vis-istors vis-istors at the Wilson Lund home. Mr. and Mrs. William T. Davenport were away for several sev-eral days last week to attend at-tend the funeral service for Mrs. Davenport's sister, Mrs. Erva Ilortin of Oakly. The Davenports traveled to Payson Wednesday with their son, Jay, and. his family of Summit. After visiting overnight over-night with the Byron Montague Mont-ague family they traveled to Oakley with Mrs. Montague for the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Thornton Mitchell Robinson, Hugn ana Randy Robinson all came from Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux joined them. Douglas Davenport was in the Valley View, Medical Center Cen-ter from Wednesday to Saturday Satur-day of last week. He was in traction for a back ailment. Mr and Mrs. Ivan Robb traveled to Logan Thursday of last week to bring their daughter Ginger home again along with her classmates who were with her for special schooling. The Robbs look Ivans father, fat-her, Milton Robb, back home to Salt Lake City on their way north. They visited briefly with Mr. and Mrs. Paul String-Jellow String-Jellow in the capitol city before be-fore returning home. Ginger has gone back to Cedar Ce-dar City now. She is living with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. El Roy Mason this summer and helping help-ing Tess in the beauty shop. . Mrs. Cleo Edwards and her children and the Misses Ellen Smoots and LeAnn Whitaker all of Cedar City spent Thursday Thurs-day of last week here with Mrs. Irene Robinson. Mrs. Edwards Ed-wards also visited with her Rrandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Robinson and with her mother-in-law, Mrs. Olive Edwards Ed-wards at the rest home in Parowan. Craig and Brad Robinson were here from Parowan to visit with their cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Murie and daughter and Miss Ellen Marie Dalton, all of Salt Lake City were here last week visiting vis-iting with the Ivan Robb family. Douglas Murie and one of his friends were here from Cedar Ce-dar City to spend the week end with the Ivan Robb family. fam-ily. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Roy Benson and children of Parowan, Par-owan, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stevens and family, Mr. and Mrs. EIRoy Mason and family, fam-ily, all of Cedar City joined and children of Parowan were Sunday visitors at the Earl Thornton home. Lynn Kay Topham was home from San Bernardino, California Friday and Saturday Satur-day to visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Topham. Top-ham. Bp. and Mrs. Boyd Robinson Robin-son and their five daughters left for Legrande, Ore. Thursday Thurs-day of last week. Bishop Robinson Ro-binson has six weeks of special spe-cial schooling and then the family plans to tour some of Canada before returning home. Alan is still here and will join the family later. Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa Stones left for Ogden Sunday for a check-up with Amasa's doctor and a visit with the Milo Stones family. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Topham and family members of Redding, Red-ding, Ctalif., arrived here on Thursday of last week for a visit with Doyle's mother, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham. On Sunday they all traveled to St., George to see the Ivan Topham family. fam-ily. The Tophams brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper and family of Fillmore also visited at the Topham home Sunday. Mrs. Roene Lund arrived home Sunday after three weeks in Long Beach, Calif, with relatives. She reports that Gayle has gone to work in a Naval Supply Depot and will spend the summer in Long Beach. Heber Lund and family met Mrs. Lund on her arrival in Cedar City and brought her to Paragonah. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Topham Top-ham were happy to have 21 members of their family together for a barbeque supper sup-per in Bear Valley Sunday night in honor of Father's Day Present for the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Dodge and their family, Mr. and Mrs. McLean Simkins and two boys, Mr and Mrs. Waldo Topham and son, all of Cedar City; Mr. |
