Show July 4th Royalty To Be Named Saturday, June 24 The selection of a king and queen to reign on -the 4th of July will be determined Sunday, Sun-day, June 21, according to the Lady Lion.4. The drawing draw-ing will take place over Radio Station KSUB at 10 a. m. by last year's king and queen. There is still time to enter your child in the contest. To be eligible, boys and girls must be from four to six years of age and an entrance card must be mailed to Mrs. Elaine Averett, 96 North 1050 West, by June 23, stating the child's name, parent's name, address and telephone number, and child's age and date of birth. The Lady Lions also extend an invitation to residents in the area to enter minature floats in the July 4th parade. "It's a Small World" will be the theme for the parade, and neighborhood groups are especially es-pecially encouraged to enter floats as well as business es- . tablishments and the various community clubs. |
