Show SENATE ACTION Appointments Pending for CSU to the CSU board and an appointee ap-pointee to fill his unexpired term was to be named by the Governor. Haldow E. Christensen of Cedar City was appointed to a three year term on the Utah Board of Alcoholism and F. Klien Rollo was named as a two year member of the Utah State Liquor Control Commission. Appointees to the board were named by the Governor in his initial list to the Utah Senate Monday and were approved. ap-proved. However, Tuesday, the Senate recinded acceptance accept-ance of the board members. Senate President Haven J. Barbow (R-Layton) said the reason for the reconsideration "was to look at the whole picture again with additional information." Some residents from this area were approved, - however, by the Senate, for appointment appoint-ment to other bodies of state government. Warren H. Bulloch Bul-loch was reappointed to the Utah Council of Higher Education, Edu-cation, but it was pointed out in advance that should Bulloch Bul-loch accept this appointment, he would not be able to continue con-tinue as the chairman of the College of Southern Utah Board of Trustees. Bulloch had a four-year appointment |
