Relatives from Beaver included Mrs. June Walbeck, Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Yardley and three of their grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Yardley, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Yard-ley, Yard-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Yard-ley' Yard-ley' and Mr. and Mrs. Roland Yardley. Mr. and Mrs. Hulda Grimshaw and some of her family came from Enoch. Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Wade and daughter. Margaret. Mr. and Mrs. By Hilxna Lamoreaux The annual reunion of the John Rowlandson Robinson family, which was held Saturday at Paragonah saw several hundred descendants of that pioneer together to-gether for the days activities. Many had traveled quite a distance dis-tance for the occasion. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Dixon of Gooding, Ida. came with their daughter, Mrs. Henry Dahn and her daughter, Lois of Murray. They brought Mrs. Etelka Robin-1 son of Provo with them. These people were guests of Mr. and Mrs. K. Doyle Robinson, arriving here on Friday and visiting in the area until Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Lund and their daughter Mrs. Joan Schultz came from Los Angeles, Calif, and after attending the reunion they visited overnight with the Lee Spencers in Paro-wan. Paro-wan. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Boardman were here from Provo and spent the week end with the Bill Board-man Board-man family. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Inglesby and two little boys came from Salt Lake City and the Alan Stubbs family of Cedar City joined them Lawrence Fretwell, Mrs. Ramola Fretwell, Mr. and Mrs. Cluff Jolley and family, Mrs. Ruby Bauer and daughter, Mrs. Mildred Petty, Mrs. Myrle Walker and children, Mrs. Ivy Skougaard and children, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bryant Bry-ant and family. Mrs. Berneice Bulloch, Mrs. Florence Romberger and children, and Mrs. Edith Hunter all came from Cedar City Mrs. Hunter was accompanied by Mrs. Orissa Herschi of Las Vegas. Those from Parowan included Mrs. Alice Holyoak, Vern Holy-oak, Holy-oak, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Holy-oak Holy-oak and daughter Michele, Mr. family had gathered here to be near her during the illness. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Norton were here from Marysvale for three days and Mrs. LaVon McClary and Mrs. Mattie Hastings were here from Las Vegas. Saturday Mrs. Ruth Parker and daughter Patty arrived from Flagstaff, Ariz., to spend a week here. The annual Relief Society birthday party will be held Tuesday Tues-day of next week instead of the regular meeting. Plans are un-1 derway for a special luncheon which will be served at 1:00 o'clock and this will be followed j by a program. All ladies of the community are invited to be present pre-sent for both the luncheon and' the program. Mrs. Alene Prothero was guest of honor at a surprise dinner party on her birthday Tuesday evening of last week. Mrs. Susan Bonzo and Mrs. Pat Calse were hostesses for the affair which saw 30 members of the Bonzo family together at the Max Bonzo Bon-zo home in Cedar City. Turkey dinner was served and Mrs. Prothero Pro-thero was showered with gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Renford Talbot arrived ar-rived home from Salt Lake City Tuesday of last week after a few days stay with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. James L. Maxwell Max-well of Glendale spent a day here last week visiting with the Wilson Lund family. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Lund and children of Cedar City were Sunday Sun-day visitors at the Lund home. The Misses Elaine Robinson of Parowan and Kathy Edwards of Cedar City visited here overnight Saturday with their grandparents, 1 Mr. and Mrs. Chester Robinson. The Jimmy Anderson children of Cedar City spent Saturday here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Engle-stead Engle-stead arrived here from St. Geroge Friday to visit for a time with their daughter, Mrs. Gwen Jones. Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Engle-stead Engle-stead and Mr. and Mrs. D. Amasa , Stones were in Parowan Sunday to visit with the Melvyn Jones family. Jimmy Lamoreaux was home ' from Soda Springs, Idaho, from j Saturday to Tuesday to visit with I his folks, the Clark Lamoreaux family. |
