This chorus is now two years old and about 50 of the members mem-bers are returned missionaries. This will be the second annual tour for the group. The second group is the Benoth Ahman Singers, comprising 43 members, including the pianist. The name is pronounced Bun-j Bun-j nath Awman which means "Daughters of God" "Daughters of Truth," or "Daughters of Light." These girls were selected select-ed from 300 who auditioned for this group. There will also be a trio of instrumentalists who also appear with the chorus. The repertoire covers sacred and secular music as well as solos, so-los, variety and choral numbers. This group will demonstrate the high ideals of Mormonism and to inspire young people to form good associations and to enthuse young people in institute insti-tute participation. These people have mostly performed per-formed in the Utah Valley area presenting sacred numbers. |
