Show Shelter Management Course Of fered by Civil Defense Force The second training course in fallout shelter management is' being offered in Cedar City this month under the auspices of the Iron County Civil Defense, it was ' announced by chairman Haldow, E. Christensen. The course will be taught Mar. 17, 18 and 19 at the Fish and Game building with the first class to begin Thursday, Mar. 17 1 at 7 p. m. Anyone interested is invited to I participate. The course is being 1 offered free of charge and in-1 structor for the course will be Ru-1 Ion W. Buck, Utah State Exten- j sion Service Civil Defense Department. De-partment. ! Others assisting in the course ' and with arrangements include Foyer Olsen, ranger for the Dixie National Forest; Raymond Milner, drug supply salesman in this area, and Wallace Sjoblom, Iron County Extension Agent. Purpose of tne course is to -train people to handle fallout shelters, to acquaint them with ' proper procedures, with management manage-ment problems and facilities that must be maintained and controlled. |
