Show Funeral Services Held Saturday For Agnes Pearl Skinner Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Cedar First Ward Chapel Cha-pel Saturday, March 5 for Agnes Pearl Heyborne Skinner, 79, who died Wednesday, March 3 in the Valley View Medical Center of a heart ailment. Mrs. Skinner was a native of Cedar City and was the last survivor sur-vivor of her immediate family. She was a member of the LDS Church and resided through most of her life on 200 East street. She was born here June 29, 1887, to Robert William and Margaret Mar-garet Bladen Heyborne. She married mar-ried Orvil Worth Skinner Oct. 18, 1911. He died in 1931. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. Speakers at the services included in-cluded Clemont Adams and Low-! Low-! ell Sherrat, Jr., with a tribute and history presented by Gwen Sher-ratt. Sher-ratt. Remarks were also made by Bp. Klien Rollo. Special musical numbers included in-cluded a quartet composed of Mamie Eck, Lois McConnell, Wm. Condie and Herschel Neeley, singing "My Father Knows," ac-! ac-! companied by Ruth Urie; a vocal solo, "Going Home," by Mrrs. Or-l Or-l lan Sherratt, accompanied by Shirley Jones, and a vocal duet, "In the Garden," by Elwin Armstrong Arm-strong and George Grimshaw, accopanied by Maureen Grimshaw. Grim-shaw. Prayer at the mortuary was by John Sherratt. Invocation at the services was by Earl Sherratt. Orlan Sherratt offered the benediction bene-diction and the dedication of the grave at the Cedar City Cemetery was by Lowell Sherratt, Sr. Prelude and postlude music was by Marilyn Prince at the organ. |
