Show Farewell Testimonial Sunday For Elder John H. Froyd I --j 1 V wmmt J JOHN HENHY FROYD On Sunday, March 13, in the Cedar Second Ward chapel at 3:30 p. m., a farewell testimonial testimon-ial will be held in honor of Elder El-der John Henry Froyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Froyd, prior to his departure for the North Central States Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Headquarters for the mission is in Minneapolis, Min. Elder Froyd is a graduate of Cedar High School where he was active in the chorus and was a member of the chorus for the musical "Brigadoon". He was also al-so a member of the U. N. Club and was a delegate to the State Model United National convention. conven-tion. He also graduated from four years of Seminary. Elder Froyd attended the first session of the National Institute on Consumer Finance sponsored sponsor-ed by the National Consumer Finance Association at Marquette University last summer and plans U atend the advanced sessions ses-sions periodically upon his return re-turn from the mission field. John is presently attending the College of Southern Utah and will complete his fifth quarter of study there prior to entering the mision field. His present major is in Business Administration, but he also has a strong interest inter-est in Anthropology and is considering con-sidering making this his major field of study when he returns from his mision. He has also heen active in the CSU Chorale and has participated in travel-, mg productions of the college, j |
