Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Gale and two children were here from Beaver and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lister and baby, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Dow Flora and family, Salina. Brothers C. L. Robinson, Parowan and Thomas B. Robinson, Enterprise, were here with their wives; a sis- ter-in-law, Mrs. Etelka Robinson and her son Burton and his wife and three children from Prove Another sister-in-law, Mrs. Stella Hallman, was here from Cedar. Numerous neices and nephews also came. Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Bastian, Caliente, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Preston Robinson and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hunt, Enterprise; Mrs. Beth Carey, California and Mrs. Crissa Hirschi, Las Vegas; Mrs. Mildred Petty, Mr. and Mrs. Cluff iolley, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Jolley, Mrs. Edith Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Robinson, Mr. and Mm. Kay Robinson, Mrs. Reva Matiieson, Mrs. Myrle Walker, Wal-ker, Mrs. Ivy Skougaard, Mr. and Mrs. DeMoine Jones, Mrs. Mel Olds, Mrs. Delia Hallman, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Bulloch, Cedar City; Mrs. Sylvia Stanley and Mrs. Anna Dalley, Summit; Dee, Leon and Kenyon Robinson and their wives, Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Lund, daughter Gayle and Clara Mae Allison enjoyed a holiday trip, arriving iiome oil Jeui. 2. Cu Christmas day they drove to Bouiuor City, Nev., where they visited overnight with the Robert Armbrust family. Then they traveled tra-veled on to Long Beach for a week with Mrs. Lund's sister, Mrs. LaVon McGookin and her husband. They spent one day in Los Angeles with Wilson's brother, bro-ther, Bob Patterson and visited with other relatives and friends. They saw the Rose Parade, and toured a Navy yard and an airplane air-plane carrier with Mr. McGookin and also visited Disneyland. Mr. and Mrs. Legrande Robb of Salt Lake City were week end visitors here with their son, Gene, and his family and other relatives. rela-tives. Neil Talbot returned to Logan Sunday to continue his school-1 ing at Utah State Agricultural i College. Vergene Jones and his mother, Mrs. Alice Jones, traveled to Salt Lake City Sunday to take Claudia Clau-dia back to her school at the University of Utah. Helen Stones, Sarah L. Stones, Lula Bastian and Nellie Dalton traveled to St. George Saturday to visit with Mrs. Ethel S. Robb and Mrs. Cathrlne Dunton, who are In the rest home there. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux left for Salt Lake City Friday in order for Mr. Lamoreaux to see his doctor. They planned to visit for a few days with their children, chil-dren, the Donald Burtons, in Lay-ton Lay-ton and the Clyde Lamoreaux family In Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Boardman traveled to Provo Sunday to take their son Gene back to school at BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Board-man Board-man and son Travis of Garrison are here for a few days' visit with the Bill Boardmans. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gale and Mr and Mrs. Albert Gale and their daughter, all of Beaver, visited vi-sited at the Orson Talbot home Thursday of last week. Walter Talbot left for Salt Lake City and Kaysville last week to visit with his son Roy and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Robinson and two little daughters returned to their home In Taft, California, Sunday after spending the holidays holi-days here with Deans parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Revere Robinson. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo C. Robinson and family of Orem were here to spend the New Year's holiday with the Chester Robinsons. On January 1st, Mrs. Irene Robinson's Robin-son's birthday, the family group all traveled to Cedar City for a celebration at the Ralph Ed wards' home. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis R. Robinson joined the group there also. Saturday the visitors returned home to Orem taking Irene with them. Sunday Bud took his mother to Salt Lake City where she was to enter the hospital hos-pital again for extensive tests. Mr. and Mrs. Gerty Thornton were holiday visitors here with i Gerry's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thornton and other family members. Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Engle-stead Engle-stead and Mrs. Gwen Jones traveled tra-veled to Pangultch Monday to attend the funeral services for John Crosby. Mrs. Edith Barton came home Saturday after spending two weeks In Pangultch with her ailing ail-ing mother, Mrs. John Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham and Mrs. Eliza Norton had a number of guests during the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hastings were here from Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Norton from Marysvale, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Stubbs and family from Ely, Nev., and Mrs. Stella Hallman, Mrs. Elva Olds nd Mrs. EV!!s HsHrpsr; from Cedar City. During Jay Stolk's stay here from Nevada, he entered en-tered the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City for surgery. Mr. and Mrs. James H. Anderson Ander-son were in Beaver Sunday to visit with relatives. On Monday Mrs. Yvonne Low and Mrs. Miriam Limb and members mem-bers of their families of Beaver were here to visit with the James H. Andersons. Gary Lamoreaux, Kip Stones and their scout leader, Eugene Robb, went on a winter camping trip to the Parowan Mountains last week with other boy scout troops of the area. It proved to be a very chilly trip and the boys were glad to get back home. Leon Guymon of Layton was here last week for an overnight holiday visit with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Orlo Topham. Lamarr Anderson went to Logan Lo-gan last week to resume his studies stu-dies at Utah State University. Mrs. Lovena Olilia and her baby are here from North Dakota visiting with her mother, Mrs. Mary Barton and members of the family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hallman of Cedar City were holiday visitors at the Orlo Topham home. |
