Show "Make It With Wool" Entrants Leave For State Competition The County winners of "Make it with Wool" contests from all over the state of Utah will gather gath-er in Salt Lake City today, Thursday to participate in the 18th annual state contest with competition 10 take place at the Hotel Utah. Three young ladies from Paro-owan, Paro-owan, who won first place honors hon-ors in the County contest, left on Wednesday morning for Salt . Lake City to participate. They were the Misses Mickie and Eva-lee Eva-lee Applegate, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Don Applegate, and Andrea Adams, daughter of Mrs. Roy Adams. The latter took the three girls, to the contest and Mrs. Applegate will fly to Salt Lake today to be on hand for the contest this evening. County winners are to meet t Thursday mornirg at Hofel Utah for breakfast, lunch, fashion in struction and beauty counseling. The state contest will be held , this evening at 7:30 in the Lafayette Lafay-ette ballroom at Hotel Utah. The winner of the state contest con-test will travel to Phoenix, Ariz for national competition on Jan. 14 and the first prize winner in national meet will be awarded a 14-day European trip, it is announced. |
