Show Sandra Cox and Max Calvert Lewis Exchange Vows in St. George LDS Temple Ceremony In nuptial rites spoken Tuesday, Tues-day, December 29th, Max Calvert Lewis claimed Miss Sandra Cox as his bride. The double-ring' ceremony was performed by president pre-sident Rudgar C. Atkin in the St. George IDS Temple. The bride is the daughter of j Mr. and Mrs. Edwin C. Cox of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Calvert T. Lewis are parents of the bridegroom. bride-groom. Setting for a reception which followed the ceremony later in the day was the Cedar City Seventh-Ninth Ward Church. The bride wore an original wedding gown which she had designed and made herself. The dress was styled from while bridal! -:.atin and featured outline lace' and pearls accenting a high waist line, sleeves and a satin i underskirt. A bridal illusion veil I was caught up by a net and! crystal rose headpiece. Sandra's! bridal bouquet was a design of J glamelias and red roses. Sisters of the bride and bridegroom bride-groom stood as attendants. Mrs. James A. Jensen, Miss Barbara Cox, Miss Carolyn Lewis and Miss Catherine Lewis were dressed dress-ed alike In red wool street length styles. Their bouquets were made of white glamelias. Best man for the occasion was Carl F. Lawson. Brother of the brMe, Richard Cox was an usher along with Gary Herron and Edwin Ed-win Jardine. During the reception, Mrs. P. Boyd Hales served at the guest book. Gift room attendants were Mrs. Karl Bradshaw, Miss Charlotte Char-lotte Cox and Miss Nellie Cox. Kitchen hostesses, Wanda Cox, Inex Cox and Mary Buhanan were assisted by Miss Bonnie Magleby, Miss Jean Watson, Miss , Y'vonno Vorkink, Miss M argot I Lynn Bird and Mrs. David Hum- pherys, serving. Before leaving for the honeymoon honey-moon trip, the bride donned a i two-piece beige lace dress which she designed and made as a going go-ing away costume. Her accessories accessor-ies were in brown tones. j The newlyweds are making their home in Logan. The bride graduated from Col-lege Col-lege of Southern Utah and Utah State University. She is currently employed as secretary to the Dean of the College of Humanities Humani-ties and art at USU. Mr. Lewis graduated from Montpilier High School, completed complet-ed a mission for the LDS Church in New Zealand and is presently a student at Utah State University, Univer-sity, majoring in business management. |
