Show IS'" MISS CERALDINE JONES Parowan High School Has New Home Economics Instructor The Parowan High School has a new home economics instructor with the opening of studies following fol-lowing the Christmas vacation, it is announced by Principal Bruce Decker. The new addition to the school faculty is Miss Geraldine Jones, who is a native of Preston, Idaho. She comes to the Parowan High to take the place ot Mis. Adele Decker in the homcmaking department. de-partment. The latter was teaching teach-ing on a temporary basis with, the understanding that she be relieved at the first of the year. Miss Jones was torn in Pieston, and her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Jones. She is a graduate of the Davis High School at Kays-villo Kays-villo and attended Weber College for a quarter, then Call State University, followed by one session ses-sion at San Jose State, Calif. Miss Jones is a home economics econom-ics major with a minor in business. busi-ness. Her former leaching experience exper-ience was at Club Heights School in Ogden. She is now making her home with Mrs. Carol Wright. She states that her hobbies include in-clude skiing, riding hiking, .-amplng, playing the piano, sewing, sew-ing, art and reading. |
