Show Mrs. E. W. Southwick To Serve on U of U Advisory Committee Mrs. E. W. Southwich, of Cedar City has been Invited to serve on the Advisory Committee for the University of Utah's third state-wide conference on women's wo-men's roles, according to Grant R. Holt, acting Dean, Division of Continuing Education. Mrs. Southwich is one of 50 prominent Utahns, both men and women, who are expected to serve. The group will convene at 2 p. m. Thursday, Jan. 14 to plan the program for the 19C5 conference, confer-ence, scheduled for tnr week end of March 10 on the University, campus. According to Mrs. Esther R. Danda, Division director of women's wo-men's programs, evaluations of previous conferences and suggestions sug-gestions received to date for the coming meeting indicate a theme on women's responsibilities in the changing society. "The Advisory group will undoubtedly un-doubtedly want to review recommendations recom-mendations in the field of employment, em-ployment, education, community and family services as well as others before making a definite determination on this year's conference con-ference program," Mrs. Landa said. |
