Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Toland were Mrs. To-land's To-land's parents and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Y'oung and daughter Loretta of Afton, Wyo., and Gene's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Garland Toland of Vernal, Utah. Mr. and Mrs. James Loops! spent the holidays in Jerome, Ariz., visiting with their parents. John Rupper and Dwight Bingham Bing-ham and Jerry S.mtherland spent New Year's Eve with Cl.cdcy Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Reeves Chidister and sons of Kearns, L'tah, spent a few days with their parents. Ethna and Barbara Williams traveled to Las Vegas to spend New Years with Mr. and Mrs. Rowan Williams and family. ' Week end visitors at the Ivan Davies home were Mr. and Mrs. Eldred Smith and family of St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Knight of Cedar City. ' Evan Boshell of Hamilton Fort spent Saturday vi.xiting his friend Jeffrey Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Shcrakl Peterson and granddaughter Chandra Baldwin Bal-dwin of Boulder City, Nev., spent a few days visiting Mrs. Peterson's Peter-son's mother, Mrs. Francis Williams. Wil-liams. Also visiting her mother was LaDene Walker and duugh-1 duugh-1 tT, Suanne, of Cedar City. Verl Beckstead and Wayne Olds left Monday for Las Vegas on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dirk Kossen of Henderson, Nev., came here to enjoy the annual New Year's eve dance at the school house. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Beckstead and son David, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Williams spent part of the holidays in Phoenix, Ariz., .vith Mrs. Bcckstead's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Ger-haty. Ger-haty. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Beckstead and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Wil liams were business visitor-.;' in Salt Lake City last week. Pvt. Robert Davis flew back to his Army base in Fori Polk. La., after spending three weeks visit-I visit-I ing his parents, Mr. and Mr.;. Virgil Davis. Visiting a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Davis, Da-vis, was Helen Simkins and children chil-dren of Murray. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Bcck-.tead enjoyed a visit from one of Verl's army buddies of World War II. Mr. and Mrs Bruce Crook and family of Etna, Wyo. Verl and Bruce spent most of their time in the service together in the Pacific Islands. Also visiting f Bccksteads was Mrs. Beckstead grandmother, Bertha Gehring of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Knudson , and sons Neils and Chris returned re-turned home Sunday after spend ing the holidays in Los Angeles with relatives.
