Show KANARRAVELE Mrs. Hannah Davit Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Kitchen of Orem were visitors here with Mrs. Kitchen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Robinson, and brother Don. Sme of our townspeople attended at-tended the Helldorado at Las Vegas. Many of our people attended the Junior High School gradua-ton gradua-ton exercises at Cedar City Friday Fri-day night. Graduates from here were Carolyn Batty, Raona Encc, Aloma Berry, Michael Williams Robert Davis and Dale Cornelius. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing were Newell Wasden. Stake High Councilman. Bp. Gubler. Val Davis, Chesley Williams and Ro-bcrt Ro-bcrt Davis. David Davies gave a piano solo. About fourteen Relief Society sisters atended a session at the St. George temple Saturday. Mrs. Verna Davis and son Paul and Mina Piatt attended open house in Cedar City Sunday in honor of Harry Leigh on his 80th birthday. Carma Williams and children, Deborah and Jeffrey and mother, Hannah Davis, were visitors in New Harmony last week. Mrs. Hettle Pollock received word of the birth of her first great grandchild, a son born to Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hayes, May 16. In Texas, where Mr. Hayes is stationed. Mrs. Hayes is the former Karen Wood, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lalif Wood of Las Vegas. Rosella Christensen visited in Henderson, Nev., and In California Califor-nia with some of her children. An immunization clinic was held at the church Monday with Dr. P. K. Edmunds and LaRue Ford In attendance. Mrs. Janet Stokes took her school children to St. George on a swimming party Tuesday. Mrs. Carma Williams and Lucille i Gubler accompanied the group. |
