Show I College 50-Year Club Welcomes Members The 50-year Club, graduates of the College of Southern Utah ex. tending back 50 or more years, brought their organization in closer contact with one another when they elected Professor Em- erltus Parley DaHrj as their secretary and treasurer. Professor Profes-sor Dalley, an ardent booster of the alumni, will keep the addresses ad-dresses and names up to date, make contact with members, and keep members informed of actl-vlties. actl-vlties. Action was taken during the annual business meeting on the College of Southern Utah cam-pus. cam-pus. Elected president to replace Dr. Frank Petty was Dewey Farnsworth Thorley, a graduate of 1907. Herbert P. Halght, class of 1906, was elected first vice president; Ethel Stones Robb. class of 1906, was nominated as scond vice president, and Mattie Booth, class of 1903, was elected historian. Thirty-seven old-timers met during the day in both a business busi-ness and luncheon meeting. They toured the campus, noting additions addi-tions of new buildings since their graduation. The group meets annually on the day preceding the alumni banquet. Dr. Royden C. Braithwalte, director di-rector of C S U, addressed the group and welcomed them to the campus. He told them of the fu-ture fu-ture developments in store for the college. Entertaining them with musical musi-cal numbers were Dr. Blaine Johnson and Roy L. Halversen, staff members in the music department |
