Show Dianne Cooley Wins Beauty Crown ir - MISS DIANNE COOLEY v. y MISS SHARON CORBY O MISS MARTHA r AXLES Lovely and talented Miss Dianne Cooley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hazen Cooley and student stu-dent at the College of Southern Utah, won the coveted "Miss Cedar City title at the pageant staged at the Parks Theatre Saturday Sa-turday evening. A panel of Judges selected the stately blonde for the title and named Miss Sharon Corry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milo Corry, as rirst attendant, and Miss Martha Fakler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fakler, as second attendant All three are students at College Col-lege of Southern Utah and from Cedar City. The contest was sponsored by the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce. In addition to prizes Miss Cedar Ce-dar City also won an expense-paid expense-paid trip to the Miss Utah contest con-test to be held later this summer In Salt Lake City. Miss Cooley was sponsored by the Cedar City Lions Club. Sponsor Spon-sor for Miss Corry was the Elks Lodge and KSUB sponsored Miss Fakler. Other contestants who participated partici-pated In the contest Included Miss Shirley Graff, sponsored by Cowley Drug; Miss Shirley Mc-Intyre. Mc-Intyre. Rotary Club, and Miss Beverley Barlocker, Cedar School and Office Supply. Herman Anderson, chairman of the event for the Jaycees, indicated in-dicated that Judging was unusually unus-ually close with all of the contestants con-testants scoring well In all dlvl-slons. dlvl-slons.
