In addition to the election of LeFevre to the state organization, the local delegation also was successful in bidding for the 1958 state convention. conven-tion. At the convention finale, the annual banquet ban-quet at Ben Lomond Hotel, .eFevre also received the Travel trophy in behalf of the Cedar City club. The Travel trophy is awarded each year to the club having the most accumulated man miles to the monthly "travel trophy" meetings. A. L. Thompson, also a past president of the Cedar City Jaycees and a state vice president for the past yenr. completed his official duties on the state level at the convention. As a stat vice president pres-ident he was in charge of one of the meetings of the convention, a finale to a most successful year for Mr. Thompson A large delegation from Cedar City attended the convention and participated in campaigning for LeFevre's election and the successful bid for convention city In 1958.
