Show American Legion Auxiliary Plans Poppy Sale The Parowan Unit of the Amer-lean Amer-lean Legion Auxiliary will stage its annual Poppy Day and hold its election of officers for the coming year on Saturday, May 25, according to an announcement announce-ment made by officers of the organization. or-ganization. Pearl Stevens, second vice president of the unit, will act as chairman of the Poppy sales, and has selected the following members of the auxiliary as the members of her committer Nellie Nel-lie Taylor, Carmen Topham, Bu-tella Bu-tella Halterman, Ada Evans, Mary B. Orton and Betty Lowe. This committee will have charge of sales with all members of the organization to act as members of the sales force. The poppy sale will be held during the morning, end, then in the afternoon at 3 the annual election meeting of the auxiliary will be held in the Old Rock Church. At this time officers for the coming year will be named. This meeting will be conducted by Nellie Taylor, present president presi-dent of the auxiliary. |
