Show C S U Faculty Women Plans Spring Tea The social function of the spring which is looked forward to by the CSU Faculty Women's Club and the other ladies of the area took place on Saturday. The Spring Luncheon was arranged ar-ranged under the supervision of Chairman Mrs. D. C. Schmutz and her committee Mrs. James Amend, Mrs. Gronway Parry, Mrs. Hazen Cooley, Mrs. Ann Gardner, Mrs. Eugene Woolf, Mrs. Emma Nelson, Mrs. William Krueger, Mrs. Bert Carpenter, Mrs. Nelson Marsden, Mrs. Ray Eggert and Mrs. Paul Dahl, Miniature Maypoles May-poles favors marked the places for 130 ladles at the tables which were beautifully decorated with roses and other spring flowers. Luncheon music was furnished by Prof. Roy L. Halversen, Marilyn Mari-lyn Halversen, Mary MacDonald and Carol Ann Parry. Mrs. Ianthus Wright was the guest reader for the afternoon. Her reading of the well-known book "Auntie Mame" was found delightful by all of those present. Officers to lead the CSU organization organ-ization for the coming year were announced by the retiring president, presi-dent, Mrs. Cleo Petty. Those elected elect-ed to office were Mrs. Bruce Os borne, president; Mrs. Max Weaver, vice president, and Mrs. Robert W. Boal secretary and treasurer. Those having served with Mrs. Petty are Mrs. Victor Davis, vice president; Mrs. Osborne, Os-borne, secretary and treasurer, and Mrs. Reid Cox, historian. |
