Show Girls' Day Activities Draw Large Crowd Over 150 ladies attended the annual Girls' Day fashion show, tea and dance review held at the Parowan High School last Friday, it is announced by Mrs. Beth Orton, Or-ton, homemaklng instructor at the school. During the afternoon the girls of Mrs. Orton's department modeled mod-eled the clothes they had made during the past year. The numbers num-bers of the dance review were in-tersperced in-tersperced through divisions of the fashion show under the direction direc-tion of Miss Merian Anderson, girls' P. E. Instructor. During the affair Miss Gretta Mortensen was awarded her Betty Bet-ty Crocker pin for her outstanding outstand-ing work in the foods division of the Parowan High homemaklng homemak-lng department. The day was climaxed with a girls' choice dance in the eve- ing with David Topham, son of Mr. and Silas Topham, being selected se-lected as the most prefered man at the school. |
