Show Richard Webster, Marion Andrews Elected To Cedar City High School Student Offices Ninety per cent of the student body of the Cedar City High', School went to the polls early, this month to elect a slate of offi-1 ccrs to serve during the 1958 59 school year. j As a result of the balloting' Richard Webster, son of Mr. and; Mrs. Mark Webster, was named as president to succeed Travis, Nelson, who will serve through1 the remainder of the current school year. Named as vice president was' Marian Andrews. She will replace re-place Sue Ellen Dulloch and Karen Kar-en Matheson will fill the vacancy va-cancy of Ada Marie Wood at the conclusion of the school term. Miss Andrews is the daughter j of Mr and Mrs. Horace Andrews and Mr. and Mrs. Evan Mathe-1 son are the parents of Miss Ma-1 theson. The newly elected president has been active in school functions func-tions and extra curricular activl- ties for the past two years. He has had leading parts in the school's operas, is a member of the high school band and has also been active in dramatics on the campus. The new vice president, Miss Andrews, was a member of the Junior Prom assembly committee, is a member of the band, where she served as secretary; FHA chapter. Pep Club and was chairman chair-man of the harvest ball lust fall. Miss Matheson has been a member of the student council I at the school for the past two years. She has served as an officer offi-cer of the FHA chapter and was la member of the "La Danders," a marching group, when she , v. as a sophomore.
