City Fire Department Seeks Funds for Fourth Celebration Cedar City Volunteer Fire Department De-partment has contacted merchants mer-chants and individuals of the city this past week for contributions contri-butions to stage the annual Fourth of July Fireworks display again this year. Department will need approximately approxi-mately $-100 to stage the gigantic fireworks display again this year. Money contributed will be used only for the purchase of the displays dis-plays and the work of erecting the displays and staging the event on the evening of July 4, will be carried out by members of the department. The display has grown each year and has become an important import-ant part of the Fourth of July activities ac-tivities in the southern Utah area, it was pointed out by the chairman of the event, George Slack. Any contributions to the program pro-gram from Individuals or businesses busi-nesses can be addressed to the department at the flrehouse In Cedar City.
