Show Record Rngler Crop Expected Afield For Current Season At least 175,000 Utah anglers are looking forward to the June 7 opening of the general fishing season, according to a release today to-day from the department of fish and game offices. An average water table and full production of fishes from the twelve state hatcheries give pro-mise pro-mise of a good angling year ahead. The department urged all anglers ang-lers to observe the 1958 fishing regulations and the rules of good conduct during this season when more sportsmen are afield than during any other period. On each fish andor game license li-cense issued, sportsmen will see the following written: "This license li-cense does not authorize you to trespass on private property whether whe-ther posted or not, without the permission of those in control thereof." The department also noted that changes in angling regulations are necessary each year to keep pace with Increasing fishing pressures and tne advancing management program. To avoid conflict with the law the angler ang-ler should be well acquainted with the 1958 proclamation wherein these rules and regulations regula-tions are listed. Proclamations may be obtained from license agents in Cedar City. |
