Ski Course Development Plan Underway; Plans are now underway for the development of a skiing area near the sand cuts on Highway 14 In Cedar Canyon. The scene Is an Ideal location for the future growth of this ' popular winter sport, those who have been working on the pro- i ject indicated. I A unique name has been chosen cho-sen by officials of the Dixie Na- I tional Forest, who are cooperat- j ing in the project. The area will be known as "Kaitom" (Kl--tom) which is a Piute Indian name meaning winter mountain, A name-the-skl-run contest is now underway in conjunction with this project and application applica-tion blanks can be obtained at Hamilton Sporting Goods la Cedar Ce-dar City. The contest will continue con-tinue through December 3L, aft nounced. All interested parties are urged' which time a winner will be an-to an-to enter the contest.
