Show CSU T-Birds Prepare Fcr Heavy Hoop Play After capturing first place honors in the College of Southern South-ern Utah Invitational Basketball tournament, the Tunderbirds of Coach Cleo Petty jumped from the fire into the frying pan with a host of games and additional tournament activity. This week the CSU Thunder-birds Thunder-birds remain at home with a game held Wednesday evening agarnst Magic Valley and Satur-i day evening they take on a service ser-vice team when they host Nellis AFB of Las Vegas. Game time Is 8 p. m. The annual tour into California Califor-nia and participation in the Chaffey Invitational Tournament is on the docket for the following follow-ing week's action and they will rvturn to Utah the next week to I participate in the Dixie College i Invitational -tournament at St. 1 George. 1 On the fcwing ir.to California, the Thunderbirds will meet San I Bernardino Monday evening, will I mine to Compton for a clash with the Tartars Tuesday even- ing. and Wednesday they will I begin action in ihe 16 -team Chaffey tourney.
