Show Macfarlanes Attend Funeral Rites for Son-in-Law Mr. and Mrs. Clair Macfarlane were called to Salt Lake City early last week because of the sudden death of their son-in-law, George William Howell, 28. Mr. Howell died at his home in Granger, Gran-ger, Utah, November 27, of a heart ailment. It is understood that he had been in apparent good health the night before. The young man was born In Pocatello, Ida. on November 30, 1932, a son of James Verl and Vida L. Ward Howell. On March 12, 1954, he married Margilee Macfarlane of Cedar City in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Tem-ple. He moved to Salt Lake City ten years ago, and had been an active member of the Church, having served as a ward clerk and president of the Elder's Quorum, and was a Teachers' Quorum Advisor. He is survived by his widow, two sons ,and a daughter, Jimmy, Kathleen and Brent Howell, all of Granger; his mother, Mrs. Vida Howell, Pocatello; two brothers and two sisters, Ray Ward Howell, How-ell, James Russell Howell, both of Pocatello; Mrs. James A. (Pot-tyl (Pot-tyl Taggert, Taylorsville; Mrs. Michael (Ruth) Barclay, Black-foot, Black-foot, Ida. Funeral services were conduc ted last Wednesday in the Jordan Stake Center. |
